01 / Context

The product and its operating environment

An Egyptian PropTech platform bringing property discovery, project data, developer context, market content, and expert support into one system.

02 / Challenge

The complexity worth solving

Property discovery had to work as one journey across web and mobile.

EstateBook needed to connect property discovery, listing information, and follow-up across multiple surfaces. The challenge was keeping a large amount of real-estate information useful and consistent without making the experience feel dense or fragmented.

03 / Product direction

From browsing properties to progressing a decision
01

Understand

I mapped the property journey around how users discover, evaluate, save, and return to listings rather than treating each screen as an isolated browsing experience.

02

Structure

Search, property information, and supporting actions were organized around progressive decision-making, with the most relevant information surfaced first.

03

Deliver

The final experience connected responsive web and mobile flows into a more coherent property discovery journey.

04 / Key decisions

Three moves that shaped the product
01

Discovery first

Search and listing exploration were designed to help users narrow options quickly without overwhelming them with property data.

02

Layered property detail

Key decision-making information was prioritized, while secondary details remained accessible without competing for attention.

03

Cross-platform consistency

Shared interaction and visual patterns helped keep the property journey familiar across web and mobile.

05 / System

A design foundation built from scratch

A complete design system built to scale across web and mobile.

I designed the EstateBook design system from scratch, defining reusable components, interaction patterns, visual rules, and responsive behavior across both web and mobile. This created a consistent product language and a scalable foundation for future features and development.

07 / Outcome

What changed
A shipped cross-platform experience

The work contributed to a shipped real-estate product spanning web and mobile, creating a clearer and more consistent journey from property discovery through evaluation and follow-up.

08 / Reflection

What I carried forward
In marketplace products, more information does not automatically create more confidence. The hierarchy has to match the decision users are trying to make.
